Timothy Berners-Lee was born on June 8, 1955 in London England. He majored in physics at Queen's Collage at Oxford University and became a software consultantand spent a lot of time at CERN. Lee is known for being the "father of the world wide web". He created enquire, which ended up being the blueprint and conceptual ground work for the web.
